Goa High Courts

A thesis project.

It should be build-able right away. Your audience: People of Goa.

- Complete urban design for the complex of Goa High Courts. The design was derived from an initial study of existing urban fabric, especially the public structures – their use and experiential impression among the locals. This new design chained a link to the past while responding to the immediate context as it sat on top of a hill over looking sea on one side and Goa’s capital Panjim on the other. The complex acted as a gateway to the new side of Goa – the sub urban villages of Alto Porvorim.

This design was a sequel to a dissertation – ‘Popular appeal of Architecture – A case study on Hafeez Contractor’
